TWIST PILE

One of the most popular carpets to be found in UK homes, twist pile carpets are created from yarn which has been twisted tightly together. The cut pile finish gives these carpets a slightly textured appearance and they are available in plain or heathered styles.
Heathered versions combine yarns of complimentary shades creating a flecked effect so marks are less likely to show up, making them ideal for areas that have heavy use.

LOOP PILE

This durable and practical style of carpet is well suited to busy rooms in which stylish design and texture are desired. Loop pile carpets are made from wider and heavier uncut loops of yarn creating a more textured look and feel. They provide maximum durability for high-traffic areas with lots of activity like hallways, stairs and landings and are superior at maintaining long-term appearance and hide footprints well.

SAXONY PILE

The softness of Saxony carpet makes it a popular choice for bedrooms and dining rooms and it's a great option if you’re looking for a carpet that is dense and luxurious. The longer pile can show footprints and flatten more easily than other piles - therefore it's not recommended for areas that take more wear and tear, such as busy main rooms, hallways and stairs. But if you like to wake up in the morning and sink your bare feet into a deep pile, then Saxony is a perfect choice!

If you are looking more towards a natural fibre carpet that reduces the impact on the environment, this is a great flooring option to consider. They are hard wearing with a wide choice of colours and weaves and are suitable for all over the house - although darker shades are advisable in more heavily used areas as these are less likely to show potential marking or staining.
